Open Medals

In 1872 the medal was the first time offered to the Callaway X-22 Irons winner, because there's no trophy--the claret jug available. The Claret Jug is prescribed that it must be returned in time for the next Championship, however, the Gold Medal is allowed to be kept by the winner. Since the medal started to be the award to winners, it should be paid by the winners themselves.
