Talking about the key factor to win, Radwanska stressed the word "focus" in the news conference.
"You just have to play 100 percent, to be focused from the first point until the end, and trying to play aggressive and just fighting for each point," she said.
"I just knew that she's playing well in last couple of weeks, so I was really focusing on my game from the beginning."
The victory over Pennetta is the 10th win in a row for Radwanska, which keeps the 12th-ranked alive in the race to earn a place in the season-ending WTA Championships in Istanbul late next month.
"I think I need some break after those two weeks, so I'll take some time off and practice at home and go Moscow, and hopefully I can go to Istanbul," said Radwanska.
